As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Representative to join our team and help us expand our market presence.
The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Albert Trading Ltd by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our products and services. The successful candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Present and promote the company’s products (Makita) to prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for reaching new clients.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to build and maintain relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system (NetSuite).
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred or a Diploma in Sales / Business + more than 3 years’ experience.
- Proven experience in a business development, sales, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of the trading sector and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
- Proficiency in using NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Driving Permit is a must.

Hours:
- Mon to Fri > 08h30 - 17h,
- Sat > 08h30 > 13h.
- May be required to do overtime from time to time.
