The Business Developer (Business Development Manager / Executive) will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for driving new sales into the business through the relationship development of new and existing clients, with the main focus on new clients.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and actively seeking out new business and partnerships across Mauritius and Indian Ocean region
  • Manage existing client base to ensure relationships and referrals are maximised to their potential
  • Identify sales opportunities and ways to grow the business in current and new areas of industry
  • Promote company's products by addressing or predicting clients's objectives
  • Develop positive and influential internal relationships throughtout the organisation
  • Meet and exceed your KPIs
  • Contribute ideas and good proactive business sense to the team and organisation
  • Work as part of a team, attend meetinfs and contribte where appropriate to deliver increased volumes of business
Profile:
Previous working experience in the same role as Sales Executive / Manager
Have a proven track history in sales and new business development
Have an understanding of sales within the animal feeds industry
Have a sound market knowledge as well as excellent communication skills
Be a natural relationship developer, influencer and problem solver
Be a team player who has the ability to delegate to ensure the job is completed
Be forward thinking with ideas and have the desire to progress
Have the drive to achieve and exceed targets
BSC / BA in Administration / Sales or related field
