To prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic cold and hot beverages ; maintain appealing display, cleanliness, order, set-up and “mise en place” of the different bars, and to deliver professional and friendly service to guests as per the Hotel’s standards.
- Welcomes, seats and serves guests as per set standards.
- Converses with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Provides a speedy, courteous, efficient and friendly service to guests.
- Maintains cleanliness of bar service area, furniture, fixtures and equipment at all times.
- Reports bad functioning of material and utilities such as lights, fans and toilets to the Bar Supervisor for any repair.
- Regularly clears and cleans tables and the bar counter, and empties ashtrays.
- Assists team members in performing “mise en place” of the bar counter and tables, and in transporting goods properly.
- Neatly displays bottles and polished glasses and various decoration items on shelves.
- Checks at all the times that bills are accurate and signed by guests, and returned to the cashier in accordance with billing procedures.
