Will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating client's operations; assessing the effectiveness and adequacy of all internal controls of management. His job description entails reporting to and assisting the Audit Manager with reviews and special project work as may be required.
Requirements:
- ACCA, partly qualified with minimum 1 year of experience in audit
- Knowledge of IFRS and ISAs
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Caseware is an advantage
Skills:
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and financial reports
- Good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assistance in collecting and analyzing data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
- Assistance in Reporting to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
- Assistance in preparation of detailed reports on audit findings.
- Assistance in Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income and expenditures.
- Assistance in Inspecting account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
Ideal Candidate will be from a professional services firm.
