We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant to support our Logistics and Procurement Department. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the entire end-to-end life cycle cross trades, including documentation, record keeping, logistics management, and communications.
Liaise with both group and external buyers regarding purchase orders, managing the logistics chain of events from deal activation to close.
Coordinate with procurement partners and suppliers concerning product details, terms and conditions, shipping time frames, and clearing requirements.
Work closely with the treasury department and accounts to manage outgoing and incoming payments.
Facilitate the generation and distribution of all deal-related documents.
Collaborate with senior management to develop new deal flow supporting software and processing systems.
Understand the operational status of the company and develop new ideas to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Work in tandem with the marketing and sales department to strengthen the company's work culture and integrity.
Develop strategies to overcome market competition and ensure the company leads in its chosen niche.
Ensure accurate and timely flow of information to buyers and suppliers.
Execute new business strategies properly and ensure they are clearly understood by all involved teams.
Maintain proper and efficient communication, processes, and controls to advance the company's growth and profitability objectives.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the director from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in logistics or procurement.
Knowledge of supply chain software and procedures.
