Job Summary The Assistant SPA Manager is responsible for the daily Spa Operations and to supervise the Spa & Fitness team members while maintaining the highest quality of service in the different section of the Spa Department.
Job Description
• To assist with all day to day Spa operations in conjunction with the Spa Manager
• To assist the Spa Manager in achieving objectives set by the General Manager & Resident Manager
• To act as leader in absence of the Spa Manager
• To monitor quality control for each and every aspect related to the Spa Operations
• To ensure all clients services are being carried out in a professional, correct and efficient manner
• To set new standard/protocol or review existing ones where needed and ensure staff adheres to it in order to provide the highest level of customer service
• To assist in upgrading Spa facilities where necessary and make recommendations for updating and improving the Spa’s services and facilities in general
• To constantly seek for guests feedback in order to determine the level of guests satisfaction
• To promote and practices excellent client services and ensure all staff are doing the same
• To optimize revenue and assist in retail marketing and special promotions
• To ensure a regular and efficient communication with the Spa Manager and take subsequent action in order to ensure that each and every incident does not repeat itself
• To ensure all communications, instructions, objectives form the Spa Manager are properly cascade down to all team members
• To foster a positive work environment
• To consistently lead the team by example and motivate all staff by creating a strong team spirit
• To Motivate employees and correct performance issues in a timely manner
• To Supervise the yearly training calendar and monitor outcome
• To identify all training needs and ensure each and every need look into the provision for appropriate training is made accordingly
• To ensure that Standard Operating Procedures, rules and regulations are consistently adhered to by all staff members
• To work closely in collaboration with the Uspa Head Therapist and Head Receptionist in order to optimize team performance
• To ensure that the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in all areas including reception area, gardens treatment rooms, wet area, fitness, staff area, store etc.
• To ensure all equipment’s and accessories are kept in good working condition
• To ensure linen are provided in a good quality according to health & Safety
• To implements, monitor and enforces safety standards
• To closely monitor all products inventory and request orders accordingly
• To review processes where necessary in order to monitor cost saving and eliminate wastage in all fields
• To carried out high quality and consistent treatments for the hotels guests when required
• To ensure the Spa team members commissions and TMS (KELIO) are properly recorded and monitored
• Any other operational and managerial duties can be assigned by the SPA Manager
