Assistant Quality & Compliance Officer

 

Our Client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Assistant Quality & Compliance Officer.

Overview:

As an Assistant Quality & Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the

organization meets regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of quality in all aspects of our operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong inter-personal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management & HACCP:

• With the support of the QA team, develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and applicable regulations.

• Ensure proper effective implementation and improvement of our quality management system based on ISO 9001 and HACCP based on Codex Alimentarius.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of quality control / quality assurance measures and identify areas for improvement.

• Uphold the GMP and GHP in place through housekeeping audits and advise on improvement areas.

• Identify and analyse areas of non-Quality (defects, non-compliance with deadlines, poor

organization, etc.) and propose corrective and preventive actions.

• Assist in the investigation of any complaints received.

• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in our processes and systems & develop solutions to mitigate them.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to minimize the likelihood of non-

compliance or quality issues.

• Monitor and analyze data to proactively identify trends or patterns that may indicate emerging risks.

• Provide guidance and basic training to employees on the company quality standards and best practices.

 

Qualifications and experience (or rather Skills and competencies):

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as quality management.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP standards, regulatory requirements, and other industry

standards.

• Demonstrated success in the implementation and certification of quality management

systems and HACCP .

• Experience in Audits.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality

issues and implement corrective actions.

• Experience in providing trainings.
