Plans short and long term objectives of the Department in accordance with the Maintenance Manager.
Assists in the planning, coordinating, controlling and supervising the departmental activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Plans short and long term objectives of the Department in accordance with the Maintenance Manager.
- Assists in the planning, coordinating, controlling and supervising the departmental activities.
- Ensures that assistance is provided to guests with special needs or requests.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools to ensure timely availability for repairs. Keep accurate maintenance and safety records.
- Assists in ensuring that the induction process for new employees is conducted properly.
- Ensures that all materials and equipment are in good running conditions at all times.
Qualifications and profile:
- 5 years’ experience at managerial level in the hotel industry particularly in the Maintenance Department.
- Degree in electrical and electromechanical engineering or any equivalent acceptable by Management.
- Oriented towards Quality management (Health/Food and Sustainability)
- Well versed in MS Tools (Word / Excel / Outlook).
- Strong Leadership and organizational skills.
- Readiness to perform odd hours of work, including Sundays, Public Holidays, Cyclonic Day and Special Days, i.e. Christmas’ & New Year’s Eve, etc…
