The Assistant – Insurance, will deliver exceptional customer service and drive excellence whilst playing a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless claims journey, handling queries, and supporting customers with care and professionalism.
Responsibility
- Resolve claims, customer service issues, and complaints within set SLAs, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Be the voice of the customer by advocating for their needs and delivering an exceptional claims journey.
- Manage new claims requests, validate documents, and coordinate approvals for processing.
- Communicate with clients about claim rejections, providing clear explanations and support.
- Collaborate with the stakeholders team to address long-outstanding claims and reschedule agreements as needed.
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Prepare monthly payment reports and work closely with Finance for seamless operations.
Profile
- Higher School Certificate
- 1-2 years in the insurance environment (advantageous).
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding customer service in insurance (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.
- Strong listening skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
- Thorough understanding of customer-related processes.
