Plans short- and long-term objectives in accordance with the Front Office Manager.
Assists in organizing the department according to management directives, in conformity to the hotel policies, procedures and standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Plans short- and long-term objectives in accordance with the Front Office Manager.
- Assists in organizing the department according to management directives, in conformity to the hotel policies, procedures and standards.
- Assists the Front Office Manager in the setting up/ or reviewing of the Departmental SOP’s.
- Deals with complaints and initiates remedial actions to satisfy guests.
- Promotes Sales of the various facilities and services of the Hotel.
- Consults occupancy lists and forecast lists and plans accordingly.
- Checks lists of arrivals, departures and billing of guests
Qualifications and profile:
- Diploma in Hospitality Management along with 5 years of experience in related field
- Prior experience in hospitality, front desk roles, or customer service is highly valued
- Ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies effectively is required.
- Strong organizational skills are needed to manage daily operations, prioritize tasks, and maintain efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with staff and customers.
- Adaptability, flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure are also highly valued.
- Ability to work odd hours and cyclonic conditions
