Assistant Cook Pastry (Trou aux Biches Beachcomber)

Prepares and cooks food according to instructions and provides efficient and prompt service to guests in all F&B outlets as well as in outside catering functions according to Hotel standards and procedures; adheres to Hotel rules & regulations and performs ancillary duties.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Mise en place.
• Material & Equipment Handling.
• Communication.
• Ready to work odd and flexible hours.
• Assist Head Chef in pastry preparation, production and presentation activities.
• Report to Pastry Chef about kitchen and storage equipment repairs, maintenances and malfunctions.
• Record food spoilage and communicate to chefs.
• Prepare market list according to daily food orders.
• Order and stock food products in coolers and freezers according to food storage standards.
• Ensure stock rotation to minimize wastages.

Profile:

• School Certificate.
• Proven experience in related function.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Any relevant certificate (NTC) from the Hotel School or any other recognised institution.
• Ready to work odd and flexible hours.
