RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive orders from Chef de Partie and cook food, pastry or other similar items, portion, garnish and serve according to established standards
Control cooking temperature and avoid wastage
Observe and taste food being cooked, sample all food prepared
Keep place of work tidy by cleaning to maintain hygiene conditions
Prepare mise en place
Observe personal hygiene and sanitation policies

EXPERIENCE

NC3 from hotel school preferred

A minimum of 1-2 years experience in the hotel industry will be an advantage
Outgoing and dynamic personality with ability to work flexible hours
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in both English and French
Preference will be given to candidates living in the Southern Region
