Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards. Manages information flow by researching, recording and analysing data and information.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Keep track of relevant legislation and regulations
• Assist in developing, drafting, implementing & reviewing of policies and procedures
• Draft reports in line with the Code of Corporate Governance and other standards
• Maintain a repository of and ensure timely renewal of contracts & licenses
• Review contracts, agreements and other legal documents
• Manage intellectual property rights
• Assist with compliance training
• Monitor implementation of post audit recommendations
• Assist with risk management
• Assist in maintaining data protection
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Previous experience within a Compliance or Legal environment – desirable
• Degree not essential, although preferable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks, including working to deadlines
• Able to communicate accurately and succinctly with senior stakeholders within the business
• Conversant with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in team and independently as well
• Discreet and confidential
