Analyst

We are currently seeking dynamic individuals who are eager to take on new challenges for the position of Analyst within our Listing & Capital Markets Solutions team as from start of 2025.

Perigeum Capital is a corporate finance advisory firm geared towards providing businesses with the insights and expertise required for the successful planning, structuring and execution of transactions falling within the scope of their respective strategic objectives.

We are a dedicated team of seasoned corporate finance and capital markets experts, who have been delivering on several M&As, capital raising transactions and successfully advising on the listings of various companies on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing pre‐IPO analysis of companies;
• Elaboration and preparation of listing application pack and listing documents for different securities exchanges;
• Assist with the drafting of Listing Particulars, preparation of Business Plan and other ancillary documents relating to IPO;
• Liaising with the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd (“SEM”) and other Regulatory Authorities;
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with ongoing obligations and disclosures as per the SEM Listing Rules, the DEM Rules, the Securities Act 2005 and  other relevant laws and regulations;
• Assist in special projects or corporate actions of listed / unlisted companies;
• Assist the compliance officer in maintaining internal compliance policies and procedures; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned, including ad hoc tasks and responsibilities, to support the smooth operation and success of the team.

Academic background, Skills and Experience required:

• A degree in Law and Management / LLB (Hons) or any equivalent qualifications will be an advantage;
• At least one year of working experience in the financial services sector;
• Proven track record of good drafting skills;
• Proven track record of strong analytical skills;
• Good client facing skills;
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines, while having an eye for details and having a commitment to accuracy;
• Avid learner with good IT skills;
• Fluent in English and French; and
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
