We are looking for a serious and dynamic person to participate in day the day to day running of the accounting department and administration of the company.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing of accounting entries on the accounting system
  • Processing supplier and customer invoices
  • Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
  • Assist Accountant in daily tasks, queries and reports
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory returns, reconcile accounts & ensure that payments are made within the prescribed deadline
  • Ensure files are kept up to date
  • Follow up on queries with customers and liaise with other staff members to provide solutions
  • Assist in general administration of the office

 

Profile:

  • ACCA Level I or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools
  • Knowledge of Sage 100 would be an advantage
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing to learn and have a “can do” attitude
  • Strong administration and self-organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills (English and French)
