We are looking for a serious and dynamic person to participate in day the day to day running of the accounting department and administration of the company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing of accounting entries on the accounting system
- Processing supplier and customer invoices
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Assist Accountant in daily tasks, queries and reports
- Assist in the preparation of statutory returns, reconcile accounts & ensure that payments are made within the prescribed deadline
- Ensure files are kept up to date
- Follow up on queries with customers and liaise with other staff members to provide solutions
- Assist in general administration of the office
Profile:
- ACCA Level I or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools
- Knowledge of Sage 100 would be an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Willing to learn and have a “can do” attitude
- Strong administration and self-organization skills
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills (English and French)
