Job description for Accounts Officer:
- To input Sales invoices
- To input purchase orders
- To be responsible for the creation of any new job/projects/customers/suppliers
- To perform sales variance analysis and work closely with the production head of departments
- To produce reports on a timely manner to the Finance Manager
- To calculate work in progress
- To maintain accounting records by making copies, filing documents and to ensure the filing system is complete
- To compile data for preparation of periodic and annual financial reports for the Group
- To support audit and liaise with auditors
- To perform any administrative and secretarial tasks related to your department
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
Person specification:
- ACCA partly qualified with minimum three years working experience
- Experience using Oracle ERP and Sage pasteal is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical matters and issues
- Multi task skills with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Good team player with ability to work proactively under minimal supervision
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Fluent in english & french written and spoken
