Fleet Pro Services Ltd is looking for an Accounts Officer to provide an effective and efficient accounting service.
Responsibilities:
Receivables
- Creation of new supplier’s account as per internal procedures.
- Prepare Deposits for Funds received.
- Filling of all deposit slips.
- Filing of all attached documents for funds received.
- Initiate Invoices for debtors, mailing Clients their individual Invoices.
- Initiate Purchase Order followed by a mail to supplier.
- Initiate Purchase Order and mailing to the administrative officer.
- Creation of Capex in Navision software.
- Issue SOA for Insurance Companies, extraction from Navision and feed-in information about vehicle number and claim number.
- Capture of lease entries.
Creditors
- Attending calls from Creditors.
- Capturing of Invoices in Navision software and filing of Invoices.
- Request for SOA; request for Invoices reflecting on SOA but not available at Fleetpro.
- Query on Invoices; Match Invoices with SOA.
- Attending of Creditor's Meeting with higher management.
- Ready PV for Cheque payments and IB transfers; Process Payments in Navision.
- Do suppliers’ account allocation with payment done.
- Emailing of all Creditors payment details/Vouchers.
- Reconcile suppliers accounts with suppliers’ statement of accounts and investigate and sort out any discrepancy.
- Filing of Payment Vouchers.
- Writing of Cheque for petty cash, vat on vehicles and for creditors; account same at Bank and in details in Petty cash Account.
- Process Credit Notes.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum ACCA level 1
- Previous accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as word and Excel.
- Good analytical skills & Attention to details
- Ability to work in a team.
- Able to handle pressure and respect tight deadlines.
