Accounting Associate

We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our team in CJ Accounting Shared Services. As an Accounting Associate, you will contribute to the Accounting and Finance functions of different Business Units of the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all trade payables invoices are recorded promptly and that payments are made in accordance with suppliers' agreed credit terms.
• Upload payment instructions on the bank payment portal.
• Accurately input all accounting transactions within the agreed timelines.
• Verify and ensure all accounting transactions are approved and supported with evidence before entry into the accounting system.
• Perform reconciliations for intercompany accounts, banks, trade payables, and receivables.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management of accounts
• Work with the accountant and/or manager to optimize cash flow.
• Assist in preparing bank transfers based on supporting documents.
• Ensure all creditors’ invoices and relevant payment documents are properly filed according to the filing system.
• Follow up on license renewals and ensure compliance with required formalities.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of an ACCA Level 1
• 1– 2 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of accounting functions and processes
• Detail- Oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and
• Good communication skills.
