As an Accountant, under the supervision of the CFO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of all accounting tasks for the company account.
Responsibilities:
1. Accounting operation
- To perform general ledger journal entries timely and accurately
- Handle supplier and customer reminders and disputes
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts notes
- Perform account reconciliation for suppliers and customers
- Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations
2. Tax and Treasury
- To monitor/Process daily bank statement
- Ensure that payments are made by the due date and that sufficient bank balance is available before initiating payments
- Ensure all payments are immediately applied to relevant invoices and that there are no unapplied invoices
- Monitor cash-flow and conduct customer reminders and follow-ups for overdue payments
- Assisting CFO for preparing and filing returns with MRA: Statement of goods and services, Annual /monthly TDS, VAT Returns
- Ensure all tax and other statutory payments are completed on a timely basis
- Ensure that all relevant backups are stored in the appropriate location
4. Accounting closing and audits
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely basis
- Participate in the month end close process and ensure completion within the prescribed deadlines
- To support the audit process (internal and external) in the most efficient way

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, SAGE, CEGID, etc.)
- Strong command in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage priorities
- Ability to work autonomously, paying attention to details and meet the deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Profile Sought:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA level 2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting or supplier accounting.
- Proficiency in French and English both spoken and written
