Accountant

Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in the field of accountancy and is fluent in French and English.

Duties

The Accountant is responsible for:

• Preparation and presentation of the monthly management accounts for clients as per agreed deadline.
• Preparation and submission of MRA returns (VAT, CTX, TDS, APS, CSG, PAYE, and others).
• Prepare financial Statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards – IFRS/IAS; including preparation of cash flow statements.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax specialist to ensure Audited accounts/Corporate Tax Return are ready in due time.
• To work for the interest of the Company and helps in the day to day running of the Company to ensure that there is smooth running in the operation.

Qualifications & Experience

• ACCA partly qualified or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Global Business Sector or an audit firm would be an advantage.
• Conversant with Microsoft office package and Accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills and multi-tasking abilities.
