Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including the management accounts of the company. This role is crucial in supporting the finance team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the provision of financial information to facilitate decision-making within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyse financial information to prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory submissions.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary information and support.
  • Participate in special projects, financial analyses, and other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Education: ACCA Qualified.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in accounting field.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
