The Academic and Student Relations Executive is responsible for enhancing student growth and development while providing support and services to students in all specific areas. The incumbent will also be expected to plan, direct and implement student programs and perform related duties as required.

 

ACADEMIC AND LOGISTICS SUPPORT
• Support the student’s life cycle from recruitment, onboarding and examinations ensuring that they have the best possible student experience in Mauritius, Rodrigues, Mayotte and in any other location where the school may operate.
• Participation in recruitment campaigns both locally and abroad through fairs, visits to schools and other PR, communication and marketing activities
• Greeting and assisting visitors/students and answering phone calls whenever necessary. To participate in the organisation of students’ admissions and registration and provide detailed information and explanations to students accordingly.
• Processing student’s applications organise tests and interviews Support foreign students in their visa applications and accommodations
• Ensure smooth onboarding of students - Distribution of material, creation of emails etc
• Update, manage and maintain the classroom software (PRONOTE) and ensure diligent communication of information to students and their responsible parties, lecturers, and management
• Act as liaison officer between management, lecturers, and students. Monitoring absences and arranging for replacement of lecturers when required.
• Providing advice and counsel to students and act as liaison officer for management and deal with student complaints and requests.
• Ensuring the application of academic regulations and deadlines and liaise with proper regulatory bodies and other stakeholders and monitor proper organisations of exams
• Help in the marketing, organization, and administration of ad-hoc professional courses
• Preparation of academic calendar and timetables and dissemination to staff of academic department and other departments on the training sessions
• Follow up of registration of students with the partner universities
• To organise regular meetings with students delegates and collect feedback on organization of courses and for all students' activities.
• Formation en Alternance - To coordinate the application and interview process. DTP, HRDC procedures etc
• Conseil de Classe - Liaise with lecturers and CAO for preparation of marksheets.
• Interim Examinations - Iiaise with lecturers and students for organization, marksheets. Etc
• Organization of Examinations - Interim and Final Exams
 
COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS SUPPORT
• Participate in actions to support communication, public relations and marketing activities for the promotion and development of the School. (local and foreign career fairs, school presentations, etc…)
• Assist in the organisation of conferences, meetings and other school events.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND HR SUPPORT
• Draft contract for freelance lecturers for academic courses
• Maintain a complete data base and filing system for all contract/ freelance lecturers and update them regularly
 
WORKING HOURS
Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
Saturday: 08:30 - 12:00
