Are you passionate about property management and operations? Currimjee Real Estate Ltd is looking for a motivated Assistant Manager Facilities to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards across our properties while ensuring tenant satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance & Operations: Assist in managing the daily operations and upkeep of multiple properties.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular visits to assess conditions, identify issues, and propose improvements.
- Service Provider Coordination: Work with contractors and vendors (cleaning, security, landscaping, maintenance) to ensure high service standards.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure properties adhere to local regulations, occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, and fire safety Regulations.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor maintenance expenses, track facility-related budgets, and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
- Tenant Relations & Support: Act as a key contact for tenants regarding facility-related concerns, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Space Planning & Optimization: Assist in space utilization planning, relocations, and refurbishments.
- Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Support emergency preparedness plans and respond to facility-related incidents.
Candidate Profile:
- Holder of a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Property Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in facilities management, Property Maintenance or operational role within the real estate sector.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement practical solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
- Good planning and organisation skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
