ASSISTANT HANDYPERSON (PLUMBING & ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION WORKS)

General building infrastructure such as maintenance of plant and machinery, maintenance of air conditioning system, maintenance workshop, pump rooms, filtration rooms, refrigeration equipment, company vehicles, garden and grounds

The successful incumbent will be responsible to:                 

1) Carry out maintenance works and repair services across the resort. This includes: electrical operating equipment and systems within the resort and plumbing services.
2) Perform various maintenance and repair services.
3) Keep all equipments clean and in good repair by providing day-to-day maintenance, under the direction of superiors.
4)Return all tools to the maintenance store and secures in proper storage area.
5)Execute duties according to health and safety regulations.                                                                                

6) Create a safe work environment for co-worker by completing all work assigned in a safe and professional manner.                                                                              

7) Follow preventive maintenance  schedule on the resort's electrical systems. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Secondary schooling with at least Form III level.                                      

2)National Certificate Level 3 in Plumbing or in Electrical Installation Work or vocational training in Plumbing or Electrical Maintenance or equivalent qualifications. 

EXPERIENCES:

1) A minimum of 1 year of working experience as Handyperson preferably in the hospitality industry.

8)Good verbal communication skills in both English and French languages.  

9)Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends and public holidays.                                               

10)Clean certificate of character is a must.
