3-D Apparel Artist

We are currently looking for a 3-D Apparel Artist to join Tropic Knits Group. Reporting to the Product Development In Charge, the right candidate will work closely with our team to convert technical 2d sketches into high-quality 3D versions.

What you will be doing:

• Elaborate 3D garment from 2D Cad to 3D through Optitex and Clo3D with graphics and visual effects
• Collaborating with pattern maker, designer, merchandiser
• Understanding the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas.
• Editing of creations based on the comments / feedback received from Designers and clients
• Contact 3D software team for troubleshooting and improvement

What we are looking for?

• Holder of a certificate or bachelor's degree in fashion design, pattern making, fine arts, computer graphics or in a multimedia field
• Artistic skills – strong understanding of colour, texture, lights, realism
• Strong working knowledge of industry such as Optitex, Clo3d, Browswear
• Excellent creativity skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Willingness to remain up-to-date on the latest creative software and hardware
