To implement and promote Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures within Manser Saxon Group of Companies.

 

Reporting to the Safety, Health & Environment Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor safety & health policies and procedures
  • Organize regular safety & health committees as per legal provisions
  • Implement appropriate safety & health training programmes
  • Carry out regular occupational safety & health audits and conduct relevant risk assessments
  • Organise appropriate occupational safety & health programmes
  • Conduct safety induction training for all new recruits
  • Inspect regularly all places and sites of work and record findings
  • Recommend necessary actions or procedural changes to correct areas not in compliance with safety & health regulations
  • Investigate occupational accidents and submit reports with remedial actions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or any equivalent qualification
  • 2 years of proven working experience in a construction environment

 

Other Requisites:

  • Fully conversant with safety, health and environmental legislations
  • Familiar with OHSAS / ISO standards
  • Holder of a valid driving license
  • Conversant with MS Office applications
  • Experience in dealing with expatriate labour would be an advantage
