Overview:

As a Senior Talend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Talend. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving the technical aspects of data integration projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and adhere to best practices. This role requires a strong understanding of Talend, data integration concepts, and a collaborative approach to working within a team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Development

• Lead the development of ETL processes using Talend to integrate data from various sources.

• Testing and Debugging

• Conduct and oversee thorough testing and debugging of ETL processes to ensure they meet requirements and are free of defects.

• Code Maintenance

• Maintain and update existing ETL processes, ensuring they remain efficient and scalable.

• Collaboration

• Work closely with other developers, data analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Documentation

• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data integration solutions.

• Mentorship

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, helping them improve their skills and knowledge.

• Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously improving development practices.

• Leadership

• Take a leadership role in project planning and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

• Adherence to Company Policies:

• Comply with all company policies, standards, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of work.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute positively to the team culture.

• Emergency Response:

• Be prepared to respond to critical issues, working under pressure to resolve challenges promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Significant experience as a Talend Developer, with a strong background in data integration and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
