Seeking an enthusiastic Front-End Production Manager with maintenance, leadership & teamwork skills.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic person with interpersonal skills for an opportunity in its Milling department in Mauritius. The Front-End Production Manager will report to the Factory Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- To perform all maintenance works on all plants concerned
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to achieve high availability during operations
- Plan and manage all the works to be carried out and all the manpower associated with on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Ensure targets are met
- Develop projects for improvement of operations and reduction of operational costs
- Ensure all employees, particularly those at the front end are qualified and can work with the new machines and equipment else organize training courses for them in collaboration with the Training & Development Lead.
- Liaise with the Factory Manager in the preparation of all maintenance works or in the installation of equipment
- Ensure strict supervision towards Safety & Health measures in the place of work as per Company policy and arrange with the Safety & Health Officer for training when the need arise.
- Ensure that there is proper housekeeping over the tools and equipment in the respective departments
- Diploma / BSC in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Integrity and strong work ethics
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and French
