A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring the room is tidy.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Show ability to provide housekeeping service in vacant and occupied rooms.
  • Ability to do housekeeping morning and turndown service.
  • Adhere and practice housekeeping procedures/ SOPs during room cleaning.
  • Manage stock of pantry and trolley.
  • Good usage of cleaning tools and equipment like vacuum cleaner, monobrosse, jet pressure machine and ensure good maintenance of these equipment.
  • Report anything or anyone suspicious or any anomalies to the Housekeeping Coordinator immediately.
  • Respect and follow the Key card procedure (i.e. signing in and out for key cards, returning all keys after work, swiping in & out while accessing room).
  • Ensure Lost and Found procedure are followed and respected.
  • Adhere to sanitary protocols and health & safety measures put in place by the management.
  • Perform any other duties as required by Management.

 

Qualifications

 

  • NC 3 in Housekeeping or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury hotels in similar positions.
  • Be a passionate, talented, creative and possess a dynamic personality and be highly motivated.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
