We are looking for a motivated and organized Sourcing Specialist to help grow and manage our local network of waste partners. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for businesses and industries that generate cardboard and paper waste.

 

Your goal will be to support and boost our collection operations by securing recyclable materials through strong partnerships and smooth coordination. You’ll work closely with the BU Manager and assist with site visits, bin setups, and collection planning in collaboration with the operations team.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and connect with new businesses that generate cardboard and paper waste
  • Coordinate site visits and assist with bin or collection point setups
  • Maintain regular contact with existing partners to ensure a consistent waste flow
  • Agree on basic terms like volume, collection frequency, and pickup schedules
  • Monitor and report on the volume of materials collected from each source
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure efficient routing and collections
  • Stay informed about local trends and developments in the recycling sector
  • Share on-the-ground insights to support sourcing strategy

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in sourcing, sales coordination, or partnership development (experience in recycling or waste management is a plus)
  • Proactive, hands-on, and not afraid of challenges
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Able to build trust and maintain long-term business relationships
  • Comfortable using tools like Excel, email, and basic reporting systems
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups effectively
