Constance Belle Mare Plage, a luxurious resort in Mauritius, is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Recreation Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Job Description
- Promoting and managing excursions, including creating marketing materials and analysing booking trends
- Handling guest payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Coordinating with service providers to ensure seamless experiences for guests
- Managing purchasing orders for excursion-related supplies
- Providing comprehensive information about hotel facilities and services to guests
- Acting as a liaison between guests and respective departments to address enquiries and complaints
- Updating and sharing relevant information with department heads to ensure efficient coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- Knowledge of various recreational activities and equipment
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in hospitality or recreation is preferred
- Relevant certification in recreation or hospitality is desirable
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a recreational setting
