We are looking for a competitive retail Shop Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. Shop assistant duties include selling, restocking and merchandising.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Be involved in stock management control.
2. Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
3. Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
4. Stocking shelves with merchandise.
5. Answering queries from customers.
6. Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
7. Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
8. Balancing cash registers with receipts.
9. Dealing with customer refunds.
10. Keeping the shop tidy and clean.
11. Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
12. Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
13. Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
14. Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
15. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
