The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and profitability of Build and Lease portfolio.

 

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and profitability of Build and Lease portfolio. The marketing manager will play a key role in promoting the expansion of all assets under operations, ensuring a strong presence in the market and attracting more visitors and shoppers.

Responsibilities

Marketing plan & Budget

  • Develop and execute comprehensive detailed Marketing Plan for a Shopping Mall and Business Park.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor marketing campaigns accordingly.
  • Establish and manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively and track spending for marketing research, events/promotions and advertising, providing analysis and review.
  • Elaborate each event concept creation and study the best way to carry out each event and to communicate efficiently about the event.
  • Propose new ideas to improve event planning and implementation process.
  • Ensure that the proposed marketing actions are targeted towards the benefit of CSM as well as of its tenants.
  • Work closely with finance to ensure that financial information for each event is accurate and up to date.
  • Create a post marketing action evaluation report as and when required.
  • Responsible for monthly management pack reporting.
  • Collect and analysis foot count reports.

Promotions & Events

  • Administer all logistics required to execute promotions and events.
  • Select, liaise, negotiate and procure the service of sub-contractors (such as caterers, decorators, entertainers, etc.)
  • Assist to set up the venue.
  • Select and follow vendors for markets or punctual exhibitions.
  • Coordinate with vendors to prepare contracts according to legal procedures.
  • Be present well before the event to ensure that all has been arranged as agreed.
  • Be present during the event to monitor and make sure that all runs smoothly.

Market research

• Conduct regular surveys with tenants, shoppers, visitors.

• Implement focus groups with shoppers on a regular basis.

• Communicate results to management team and propose marketing actions in line with the surveys and focus groups results.

• Analyze and report regularly on competitors’ activity.

 

Brand management

• Be responsible for the Brand image of Shopping Mall & Business Park and ensure a coherent message is communicated at all times.

• Maintain and enhance mall’s and business park brand identities.

• Oversee the creation of promotional materials and advertising campaigns.

 

Advertising & Communication

• Ensure proper communication with the tenants (meetings, newsletter, joint promotions, social networking, etc.).

• Plan and oversee promotion and advertising activities of the mall & Business Park, to attract the maximum of visitors.

• Liaise with branding agencies, media and press for publicity through various media.

• Evaluate/ measure, and report on the success of marketing campaigns once completed.

• Provide timely and accurate reports on marketing objectives and actions.

• Source advertising opportunities.

• Follow up the development and production of marketing materials.

• Arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials.

• Manage the mall's social media presence and online marketing efforts.

• Use digital platforms to engage with customers and promote events.


Tenants follow up

• Work closely with tenants to develop joint marketing strategies.

• Collect monthly turnovers for analysis purpose.


Service providers follow up

• Establish objectives and action plan for service providers.

• Monitor the quality of work of service providers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years' experience in marketing
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
