Our client in the distribution sector is seeking to recruit for an energetic and hands-on Brand Manager.
In this role, the incumbent will work closely with esteemed international suppliers to curate a wine selection that aligns with the preferences of both internal and external stakeholders. He/She will also work actively with the commercial teams to deliver product training, strategic support, and guidance for impactful commercial actions.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the custodian of the brand, leveraging data-driven insights to uncover opportunities for growth while preserving the brand’s core strength and identity.
- Developing and executing comprehensive omnichannel marketing plans, including pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and market activations, to achieve brand and commercial objectives.
- Managing budgets, pricing, and market activities to drive profitability.
- Empowering sales teams with impactful brand activations and support.
- Driving commercial growth through strategic collaboration.
- Maximizing marketing impact while ensuring budget alignment.
Profile:
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications such as WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) certifications or similar wine-related certifications.
- Proven Experience in the wine industry or FMCG or Hospitality with a strong understanding of wine selection, tasting, and pairing or in managing large and prestigious brand portfolios.
- Strong working knowledge & genuine enthusiasm for wines.
- Proficiency in analyzing market and sales data to derive actionable insights, informing decision-making and optimizing brand performance.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, being able to inspire and drive internal & external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a clear understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes.
- Proactive and resourceful, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver results within tight timelines.
