Job Responsibilities:

• Plans short and long term objectives of the Rooms Department in collaboration with Hotel Management and organizes the department according to management directives, in conformity with the hotel policies, procedures and standards;
• Plans, coordinates, controls and supervises departmental activities;
• Consults occupancy rate and works on forecast lists in collaboration with appropriate departments;
• Develops, defines, reviews and continuously improves the Departmental SOP’s and ensures compliance with the Hotel and Corporate Rules and Regulations, Standards and Procedures;
• Coordinates exchange of pertinent information between departments with the Rooms department and directs exchange of information with other departments;
• Verifies the hygiene of public and non-public areas of the hotel;
• Coordinates regular internal audits of room products and public areas;
• Prepares and controls operational budgets for the Department in collaboration with Hotel Management and produces monthly financial reports
