Le Warehouse Ltd (361) is looking for an Internal Control Supervisor responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective internal control system in line with the related law and ensuring that Company's operational, financial and compliance objectives are met.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess and address risk, materiality and interdependencies and translate it into impact analysis for the financial reporting and recommendations for improvement.
  • Formulate policies and procedures to improve internal controls, compliance and efficiency upon approval of Head of Audit & Risk.
  • Deliver adequate and timely action plans and monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies.
  • Assist in planning, organising and carrying out the internal controls function including the preparation of an audit manual and audit plan.
  • Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings.
  • Deliver adequate and timely action plans and monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies.
  • Ensure perpetual and end of year stock takes in Related Company Stores are done as per planning.
  • Evaluate the organisation's readiness in case of business interruption.
  • Provide support to the company's anti-fraud programs.
  • Ensure that daily reports requested from management are sent as per set deadlines.
  • Achieve KPIs set by the Management.
  • Perform any other cognate duties as may be assigned and required by the Management.

 

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Certification in ACCA Level 2.
  • Strong knowledge in process management, including familiarity with audit best practices, issue management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Well versed in accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Fully computer literate in Microsoft package – word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Humble, Trustworthy, reliable with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or on shifts, on weekends and public holidays.
  • Valid driving license.
