The Booking Officer will play a key role in maintaining an efficient and welcoming environment while supporting staff and providing exceptional service.

 

We’re recruiting.

HONDA Mauritius is seeking to recruit an adequate candidate to fulfill the following role, for its after sales service:

Booking Officer

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Greet customers promptly upon their arrival and ascertain the nature of their visit & direct customers to the appropriate department based on their needs. 

  • Notify relevant staff member of the customer's arrival and introduce the customer to a service advisor when necessary. 

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner and direct callers to the appropriate staff or take detailed messages when necessary. 

  • Maintain clear and efficient communication with both callers and visitors, ensuring all interactions are handled in a friendly and professional manner. 

  • Schedule customer appointments based on workshop availability, adhering to the time bucket system. 

  • Ensure customer data is updated accurately during their visit. 

  • Share the daily appointment sheet with the relevant departments to facilitate smooth operations. 

  • Report on the appointment hit rate and manage rescheduling for no-shows. 

  • Provide assistance to service customers during peak hours, such as the morning and evening service rush, whenever possible. 

  • Assist with various clerical duties as requested by management or other departments. 

  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for customers and visitors. 

Perform any other cognate duties that might be incumbent upon a job holder of your category.   

Requirements

  • Minimum educational requirement: HSC or equivalent (as determined suitable by Management),
  • Minimum of one year of work experience,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Preferred Skills and others

  • Effective verbal and written communications skills in both English and French,
  • Experience with SAP software is considered a valuable advantage,
  • Valid driver's license,
  • Outstanding customer service skills,
  • Attentive to details,
  • Well organised,
  • Ability to work under pressure and effect multi tasks.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 7.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
