As we expand our presence in Mauritius, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and enhance brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to expand the Spa Ceylon franchise in Mauritius.
- Play a crucial role in driving business growth by actively seeking out and acquiring new clients through strategic prospecting, targeted sales outreach, and compelling sales presentations.
- Identify and establish new business opportunities, including but not limited to retail/hotel partnerships, corporate collaborations, and spa integration.
- Manage lead generation process, commercial proposal writing, deal closing and after-sales account management by ensuring timely follow-up on contracts and settlements.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders to ensure long-term success.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
- Engage in cold calling and conduct customer meeting to support negotiations as required
- Track contract expiry dates and proactively renew customer agreements
- Coordinate with the global Spa Ceylon team to maintain brand consistency and operational standards.
- Submit reports with insights to management and recommendations for improvement.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (experience in the beauty, wellness, or hotel industry is preferred).
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and French.
- Passion for wellness and luxury retail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
- Ability to deliver results within tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Candidate must possess a valid driving license (Willingness to drive to client sites across Mauritius – Own transportation mandatory)
