Odysseo, the first Oceanarium in the Mascarene region is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician, who will perform and assist in maintenance works and repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and routine inspections
- Conduct quality checks on on-going and finished works
- Monitor and diagnose deficiencies with the Life Support Systems equipment
- Assist and monitor contractors and suppliers on site
- Provide assistance to all departments with related maintenance and repairs as directed
- Ensure that building, yard, toilet facilities and office furniture are in good condition
Profile
- National Certificate Level 3 – Preference in NTC 3 Electrical (Mono/Three phases)
- Knowledge in SCADA/PLC
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
- Able to work during odd hours
- Organized, dynamic and team player
- Conversant with Health & Safety rules and regulations
- Working knowledge of tools, industrial appliances and devices
- Problem-solving and time management skills
