We are looking for a Senior Accounting Associate to join our team and play a key role in managing financial operations.

 

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Associate to join our team and play a key role in managing financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, invoicing, and reconciliations while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage rent and utilities invoicing for tenants.
  • Handle billing for management fees, syndic fees, and Facilicare Ltd fees.
  • Assist in intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Process daily receipts from tenants and oversee debtors’ management (sending reminders, contacting tenants, and updating records).
  • Upload budget figures into the system.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for various entities, including PAV, L'Avenir Precinct Companies, ZAC (Properties & Investments), and the ZAC Group yearly management account.
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments to creditors, including setting up target banks for new creditors.
  • Handle bank statement entries, PO follow-up, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare debtors and creditors reports and assist with bookkeeping and other accounting tasks.
  • Support internal and external auditor queries.
  • Reconcile standing orders and direct debits vs invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain and update the cost plan follow-up report for projects.
  • Assist in yearly inventory and consolidation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and policies, meeting all deadlines effectively.

Candidates Profile:

  • Holder of an ACCA Level 2, degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Well verse with MS Office Tools, (Excel, Word & Powerpoint).
  • Experience in the real estate sector, use of B# (Broll) or any other asset & property management software would be an advantage;
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
