We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial side, who has worked in a management or corporate administration company with experience running the business, growing the client base, advising on the setup of trusts, foundations, investment funds, tax structuring, etc.
Opportunity to grow: the successful candidate could earn part ownership of this company if they perform and grow the business as required.
Qualifications required:
• Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Law.
Skills and experience required:
• Minimum 10 year’s experience at a Senior Management level, preferably in a Management / Corporate Administration company.
• In-depth knowledge of Mauritian financial services laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in managing global business companies (GBCs), Trusts, Foundations, and Fund Structures.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in accounting, auditing, and tax planning.
• Ability to liaise with regulators, legal professionals, and international clients.
• Experience dealing with the EDB and FSC in Mauritius
• Extensive experience in the Mauritius financial services sector
• In-depth knowledge of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) regulations.
• Proficient in trust formation, offshore structuring, and corporate administration
Job description:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
• Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision, business plans, and operational strategies.
• Drive business expansion, ensuring sustainable growth and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry partners.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure full compliance with FSC Mauritius regulations, AML/CFT laws, and other relevant financial services laws.
• Oversee corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to statutory obligations.
Financial Management & Reporting:
• Oversee the financial management of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure financial sustainability and profitability while maintaining compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
Trust & Offshore Structuring Expertise:
• Provide expert guidance on trust formation, company incorporation, and offshore structuring solutions.
• Ensure structures are compliant with local and international laws, including FATCA, CRS, and OECD guidelines.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient structures and international wealth management solutions.
Operational & People Management:
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
• Implement efficient operational processes, ensuring smooth client service delivery.
• Drive digital transformation and innovation in management services.
