Our client is seeking to recruit a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, analyzing samples, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

 

This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, collect, and analyze samples following established procedures.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to support research or production activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and observations.
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing testing methodologies.
  • Manage inventory of lab supplies and order as needed.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and other team members to interpret data.
  • Dispose of hazardous waste according to regulations.
Profile:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in laboratory science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory instruments, data analysis software, and safety procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and ability to follow protocols accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to document and present findings effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve laboratory issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with specialized laboratory techniques such as chromatography, microscopy, or spectroscopy.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, OSHA, EPA).
