We are currently looking for an experienced Web Developer who will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying the websites of our companies, from layout to function and according to required specifications and to create visually appealing sites that will shape a visitor’s experience and enable clear navigation.
The job responsibilities of the Web Developer includes the following but are not limited to:
- Write programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements.
- Run websites to identify any technical problems, make necessary adjustments where required.
- Develop comprehensive application testing procedures.
- Update existing applications to meet the security and functionality standards as outlined in the company’s website policies.
- Upload websites onto server and register with different search engines.
- Excellent knowledge of web applications and programming languages.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Update application development policies to ensure that all future applications meet the latest technical requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites.
- Any other duties related to web developing and designing.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or relevant qualifications related to post.
- A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience coding both web sites and web applications is strongly desired.
- Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and exceptional time management.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
