Welcome customers, offer the menu and answer questions about menu on offer and “plat du jour”. Process food and drink orders, carry food and drinks from the kitchen/ counter to tables and process payments.

 

Main duties:

  • Greet customers and present the menu.

  • Take and serve food/ drinks orders and up-sell any additional products.

  • Ensure that the cakes on display are impeccable at all times.

  • Arrange table setting and maintain tables clean and tidy.

  • Check products for quality and remedy to any problem that may affect the client.

  • Cooperate with the kitchen staff and replace as need be when there are absences.

  • Follow all relevant health and safety rules/ regulations and customer service guidelines.

     

    Qualifications and experience:

  • SC level

  • NC 3 would be an advantage

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience

     

    Special requirements:

  • Ability to develop constructive interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers.

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Good listening and communication skills; both in English and in French.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
