Travel Consultant

• Attend to inquiries and reservations from customers. • Issue tickets, reissue of tickets, process refunds, issue vouchers for hotel accommodation and all relevant documentation as and when requested by the manager.

- To act as sales and services facilitator for Comptoir du Monde at all times

- To assist Comptoir du Monde in their sales effort in a proactive manner with the highest level of service, courtasy and profesionalism

- To attend to enqueries and reservations from customers

- To prepare and give accurate fare quotes within a time frame of 24 hours

- To liaise with all airlines to clear waitlists, update queries, firm-up reservations etc

- To issue tickets, reissue of tickets, process refunds, issue vouchers for hotel accomodation and all relevant documentation as and when requested by the manager.

- Assist with changes to travel arrangements and booking where required

- Liaising with Destination Management companies and other key partners such as hotels and airlines

- Meeting a sales target set by management

- Dealing with complaints

- Using internet for bookings

- Advise clients about all relevant information in connection with travelling

- To prepare tour packages to both individuals and group clients

Experience & Qualifications:

- IATA Qualified

- Well conversant with Amadeus, word, excel and powerpoint

- Able to work under pressure

- Well organised and communicates well in English and French

- Relevant job experience will be an advantage.
