BIRMINGHAM.mu is currently recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Representative to develop in building relationships with key players and to help expand the business.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Search for new clients and maximise client potential in designated regions & segments
  • Develop long-term relationships with key clients
  • Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
  • Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records
  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows and other marketing events
  • Make technical presentations
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical staffs.
  • Help in the design of custom-made products

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High comfort level in meeting and hold business discussions with Architects/Interior Designers, and decision makers.
  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter who feels ownership for activities and results.
  • Quick and effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Understanding of customer service, problem-solving, salesmanship and communication skills; technical skills such as advanced knowledge of the products being sold and ability to assist customers with any technical problems

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales
  • Valid private car driving license is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be at least 25 years old
  • Fluent in French and English
