Our client, in the offshore sector, is looking for a Team Leader - Client Accounts.
Our client, in the offshore sector, is looking for a Team Leader - Client Accounts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for an allocated port-folio of clients ensuring that the following tasks are effectively carried out by the members in his/her team.
Main responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving of accounts and ensuring that they comply with IFRS where relevant.
- Preparing audit timetables and agreeing same with all concerned parties to ensure that audits start in time and audit queries are being attended to on time.
- Ensuring that financial statements are audited and filed with FSC within statutory deadline.
- Preparing and filing of VAT, NPS, PAYE and TDS returns on time.
- Providing any training that team members need.
- Preparation of reports for surveys are filed on time.
- Managing the flow of day-to-day operations of the team.
- Monitoring team members' participation to ensure the training they are being provided is being put into use, and also to see if any additional training is needed.
- Ensuring that there is always a good team spirit among the team members and with the other teams.
- Ensuring that clients’ queries are attended to within a maximum of 48 business hours.
- Being able to attend to his/her team complex queries and find solutions.
- Preparation of accounts in line with IFRS where relevant.
- Ensuring that his/her timesheet is completed accurately at the end of every week.
- Attend to any adhoc duties as and when required by management.
Qualification:
- Partly or fully qualified
- At least 5 years’ experience as Team Leader in another Management company.
