System And Network Administrator

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the configuration, installation and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, providing effective support in hardware and software related issues.
• Monitor proactively the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Provide trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management

PROFILE
• Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology related field
• 3 years experience in a similar role
• Cisco Certifier Network Associate (CCNA) & Redhat certified administrator Linux LPI
• Knowledge and administration skills on Linux systems (Red Hat, Debian)
• Oracle Certification, preferably OCP
• Experience in Oracle Database Administration
• Experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems
• Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
• Experience of other database systems, preferably SQL Server
