System Administrator

Main Purpose of the job: The job incumbent will be responsible of the administration of systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Nav for an ERP project and able to help on Web Design, E-Retailing, E- Commerce and Social Media.

Main Duties:

• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems;
• Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments;
• Performing routine audit of systems and software;
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software;
• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc;
• Answering technical queries and assisting users;
• Responsibility for security of the system;
• Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system;
• Troubleshooting any reported problems;
• System performance tuning;
• Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running;
• Configuring, adding, and deleting file systems;
• Help in creating a web site or page. This includes the design, layout and coding, and can mean working on a brand new website or updating an already existing site.

• Holder of a Bsc (Hons) in Computer Science / Information System or equivalent;
  
• Practical knowledge in Web Design; E-Commerce; E-Retailing; Social Media will be an advantage;
• At least 1-2 years experience in a relevant position;
• Young graduate with a forward looking personality;
• Technical ability to help in the implementation, maintenance and support of an ERP system;
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
• A keen eye for details;;
• Good communication and people skills with ability to train end-users.

Basic Salary Range: MUR 15,000- 20,000
