TGE Management Services Ltd ( “TGEMS”), a Syndic and Property Management Company based on the West Coast of Mauritius, is looking for a dynamic, energetic, highly-motivated and skilled candidate on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise contractors/ service providers and ensure a high standard of service delivery on each Estate/ Association Syndicale (included but not limited to cleanliness of common areas, security, and maintenance among others).
- Follow up the progress of on-going works on each Estate/ Association Syndicale. Ensure satisfactory completion within the time period assigned.
- Ensure that all equipment (water pumps, fire alarm system, fire extinguishers, passenger lifts, among others) are properly maintained and serviced.
- Supervise and manage general gardening and other sub-contracted works.
- Ensure good image of the company in terms of facilities and services offered to the occupants of the Estate and promptly attend to requests and complaints.
- Attend regular visits with owners and tenants and provide maximum assistance.
- Liaise with local service providers (CEB, CWA, Telecom, etc.) when necessary to sort out current problems.
- Attend and coordinate emergency situations (Ex: cyclone, fire, etc.).
- Coordinate yearly fire drill exercise and other Health & Safety procedures
- Provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager with regards to the Syndic and Estate management; submit recommendations about maintenance requirement and obtain quotations for necessary repairs/ services as and when required.
- Attend to various aspects of administrative work as required.
- Ensure that internal procedures, checklists and operating practices are filed, easily accessible and adhered to.
- Attend to invoicing procedures for Syndic Levies on each Estate
- Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.
Candidate Profile
- A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Management/ Project Management/ Hotel Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years working experience, with references.
- Experience in Syndic management or Project Management will be an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Syndic management process.
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively.
- Demonstrate a high service ethic
- Ambitious and self-motivated.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Well organized, flexible and adaptable approach to work with the ability to work unsocial hours where required.
- Driver’s License mandatory.
